Dennisa Brown

Ministry Leader & Visionary

   Dennisa Brown is also known as “Dee,” and is a Exceptional Children's Educator, and EC Facilitator in the Charlotte-Mecklenburg School District. Dennisa has been an Educator and employee of the school district since 2005. Dennisa received her Special Education teaching license from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte, and her Undergraduate Bachelor’s Degree in Social Work from Livingstone College in Salisbury, NC.

   Dennisa has been serving in ministry since 2006, and is committed to using her gifts/talents where The Lord leads her. She is the leader and visionary of Souls 2 Christ MIME Ministry (S2C MIME), an outreach MIME ministry located in Charlotte, NC. Her background experience in dance/MIME includes but are not limited to: Stage Plays (“Waiting on the Bus”- Denise, “Weight Loss”- Crystal, “Just When You Least Expect It- Dancer,”etc.), Dance Ministry Member (Current member of LifeLine, former member of both Seeds of Praise, & Prophetic Praise) and  MIME/HIP HOP Teacher (Order My Steps Christian Dance Company (former), & Christian School of Dance). Some of Dennisa’s more familiar MIME pieces are: “Better,” by Jessica Ready, and “Flaws,” by Kierra Sheard both located on YouTube. Dennisa is a current member of The Praising Place Church of God in Charlotte, NC under the leadership of Bishop Roy & Lady Janice Tucker.

  Dennisa enjoys spending time with her husband Carl Brown, playing as well as coaching basketball, bowling, cuddling with her dog ALi, spending time with friends and family, dancing, miming, teaching mime, perusing social media, reading, relaxing in peaceful environments, and eating Italian food. Dennisa’s biggest fear is not maximizing her full potential in Christ and completing her purpose in Him.
